The Menomonee Falls Historical Society is humbled and grateful to announce it has received a significant legacy gift from Joseph and Louise Reis. Joseph was raised in Fussville and met Louise during their college years. They chose to remain lifelong residents of Menomonee Falls, even as Joseph's career with the National Portrait Gallery took him to Washington D.C.

In 2018, Joe and Louise made a contribution to the Menomonee Falls Historical Society, funding the construction of the Reis Pavilion at Old Falls Village Historic Park and Museum.

We are deeply grateful to Joseph and Louise Reis for their commitment to supporting the arts, education and the preservation of history. This legacy gift will provide a stable, long-term source of funding to support our organization’s mission, strengthen our operations, and expand our impact in the community for years to come.

The Menomonee Falls Historical Society is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization with a mission of collecting, preserving and disseminating the history of the Village of Menomonee Falls.  Since our founding in 1966, the organization has served to support Old Falls Village Historic Park and Museum.

This year we celebrate 60 years as an organization and we remain dedicated to our mission and the community. For more information about our organization please visit www.oldfallsvillage.com or contact us at 262-250-3901.
